EVENING CRUISE IN WINTER

Hop on board, get ready outside in the winter pavilion with a mulled wine aperitif for the evening and watch the glowing Basel from the Rhine perspective. In the warm belly of the ship, you and your favorite people can then indulge in a winter menu, Fondue Chinoise or a cheese fondue with regional cheese and Beschle bread.

You book the cruise and the table reservation online in advance, and on board, you can choose between four different 3-course menus. However, you can also select everything individually.

We stop every hour from 5 PM at the Schifflände – tickets are available on board or online, where you can also book a table reservation, and are valid for the entire evening. You can find the schedule further down this page.

CHEESE FONDUE ON EVENING CRUISES

In the evening you can enjoy this 3-course fondue menu on the Rhinestärn:
- Lamb's lettuce with dried cranberries & Crunchy Nut Granola in Rhine dressing
- Rhine fondue à discretion – Our recent house blend with regional cheese from Milchhüsli in both Basels, served with Beschle bread "zum Tünggle".
- Mandarin Givrée – Mandarin sorbet from Dream of Ice in a real mandarin peel

You can get this 3-course menu including evening cruise for CHF 80 and it can even be gifted with a voucher from our voucher shop.

Do you want to enjoy fondue on the Rhine yourself? Then you can now buy the tickets online and reserve a table at the same time - because anticipation is known to be the greatest joy!

Until Carnival, we serve winter delights. Look forward to many local surprises! Rhyfüür, hibiscus-cinnamon punch, and mulled wine will warm you during the apéritif in the winter lounge with a 360-degree view.

In the cozily decorated main deck, you can then sit back and indulge. Whether with Fondue Chinoise, Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, the Rhystärn fondue, or the refreshing mandarin-givrée dessert from Dream of Ice.
