For the first time, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, our Schnitzelbanggsunndig on the Rhinestar takes place. A cozy Sunday lunch with pointed Bängg in the heart of Basel.
In the carnival-decorated Rhystärn restaurant, located at the Schifflände, you can expect pure carnival atmosphere. Doors open at 11:30 AM, and at 12:00 PM the Schnitzelbängg performances begin live and up close, until 3:00 PM.
We will serve you a fine 3-course menu including mineral water and coffee. Let yourself be pampered culinarily while the most famous Schnitzelbängg provide laughs and food for thought with their verses.

SCHNITZELBANGGZISCHDIG ON THE RHINE
In the Rhystärn restaurant in the middle of the Rhine, Bängg will also perform on Carnival Tuesday from the following Schnitzelbangg societies: d`Comité-Schnitzelbängg and d`Bebbi-Bängg!
But be careful: Unlike the Schnitzelbank evening on Monday and Wednesday, the Bängge only from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM will perform. Afterwards, there will be a Gugge concert on the panoramic deck.

SCHNITZELBANK GESELLSCHAFTEN BASEL
The Schnitzelbank-Comité has been providing a platform for the Schnitzelbänke in Basel since 1921 and organizes their performances. In addition, it supports and advises new Schnitzelbänke on topics such as verses, presentations, Helgen, costumes, and masks.
The Schnitzelbänk of the Comitè 1914 perform during Fasnacht in many well-known local venues.
Since 1995, there has also been the Bebbi Bängg as an association in Basel and the following applies: "clear rules, free of city nonsense, without HR Yydraag and board nonsense
